SUM-TAŞ was founded in 2014 in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul. We make sealing jaw sets for flowpack machines, packaging machine spare parts and parts to drawing.
From requirements to solutions.
Before making a jaw we ask about the machine, the film and where the old part has worn. The field experience our founder Ulaş Karataş has gathered since 2003 makes those answers easier to find.

Early years
Ulaş Karataş started out in packaging machinery and spare parts and spent years working beside the machines.
- 2014
SUM-TAŞ
He set up his own workshop in Bayrampaşa. The first jobs were flowpack jaws and machine spare parts.
